What is the role of Siebel Marketing in Outbound?

What role does Siebel Marketing play in Outbound? Previously I have used GAD with Outbound but now have a requirement to use a Siebel desktop.

The Genesys docs say that Siebel Marketing is required, but not why. So my question is, what does it do?

Hi Steve,

Siebel Marketing is required by Gplus Outbound adapter as without Marketing module some required Siebel components are not available thus adapter cannot work properly.

I assume that you’re going to use Siebel as agent desktop application so the answer is yes.
