WFM License usage

Hello,

Can anyone explain how WFM licenses are used or consumed?
I think the entry within the license file is not technical so they must be commerical.

But how do we determine or monitor how many are used.
Are they concurrently consumed? if an agent logs in to view their schedule/request a vacation this must count as a license, however if they log out of WFM, but continue with inbound or outbound activity then does it release that license. Same for a supervisor using WFM..
Cant find any documentation relating to this, nothing in the licensing guide either.

They are commerical.

Commerical license used only on paper and monitor use only by managers and accountant.

But of couse - if you buy less license then you have a workseats - you will break the license aggrement.

Not every agent is a WFM user, how does this affect the usage?

For example if we have 200 seat licenses, but only 125 agents use WFM, do we only need and consume 125 WFM licenses?

is it not concurrent usage then?

No, 125, actually Genesys will sell for all your agents as there is no way to control that you use only 125…

Cav - i’m sorry but you only partly right =) of couse G can’t control that you use only 125 licence. But! If you already bought the 200 seat licenses - you need bought 200 seat licenses for WFM. Coz in my practics -G accountant does’t close such bill.
