Stuck on WFM API 400 when mapping Zendesk groups to GC teams

Stuck on mapping Zendesk support groups to Genesys Cloud teams during my migration sprint. The POST to /api/v2/wfm/scheduling/groups fails with a 400 error, complaining about invalid shift patterns. Coming from Zendesk’s simple group assignment, the WFM granularity feels overwhelming.

“Scheduling groups must have a valid schedule template attached before adding members.”

How do I structure the initial payload to avoid this validation trap? Is there a sequence trick I’m missing?
