Quick question about Predictive Routing score decay post-WFM publish

Quick question about how Predictive Routing handles agent scores immediately after our weekly WFM schedule publish in Chicago. Running Genesys Cloud v24.5.0. When agents swap shifts via self-service, their predictive score seems to reset or decay aggressively, causing a spike in handle time. Is this expected behavior documented here Genesys Docs? Need to adjust our weightings if the API is recalculating availability based on the new schedule block.
