Professional indemnity insurance

Hi,

As a Genesys consultant I was thinking I should get a professional indemnity insurance. I was wondering how much does it costs in your country and how much does it cover. I don’t need insurance company names so we don’t advertise here, I just want to know how much do you pay for this approx.

Hi, this one really depends on what you want to cover. We are using AIG and have several policies depending on the project and its value. Based on everything I see, we are paying close to 5% of the total cost of the project for the insurance. We could not get a sensible quote for a project less than $500K and until $3MM, they wanted almost 10% starting from $50K per year.

I sincerely hope you will find something better.
