Predictive Dialer dropping calls on AP-SG BYOC trunks

Just noticed that predictive routing campaigns targeting our Singapore BYOC trunks are failing with SIP 488 errors immediately after the gateway connects. The issue appears isolated to the outbound routing logic when failover triggers.

  • Verified SIP credentials and registration status on the primary carrier are stable.
  • Tested manual outbound calls from the same queue to confirm the trunk connectivity is valid.

You need to adjust the trunk group settings in Genesys Cloud.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Telephony > Trunk Groups.
  2. Locate the AP-SG BYOC trunk and enable “Allow Predictive Dialer Calls”.
  3. Save the changes and retry the campaign.
