Ports option on OCS

Hi,
I have found on one OCS a “Ports” option, but can’t find what it does on any OCS document.
Any idea?

do you mean Server Info: ports entry or something inside Options section?

You are right, there is nothing in the manual about it, so, my guess is that:

a. it means nothing
b. it means something

Not brown-nosing or anything but I have always found Genesys to go a bit further than other makers in trying to customize their products, so if there is something like this and it works, my guesses would be:

  1. somehow related GSW_PORTS - specifying the total number of ports this OCS uses for virtual agent support
  2. not sure

Have you asked Genesys tech about it? It would be itneresting to see if it means anything!

Well it seems to do something with the Dialing ports (??) but not sure yet, have opened a case on Genesys and see what they say.
Will let you know.
