Stumbled on a weird bug today with outbound campaign api. when the primary carrier fails and traffic shifts to our secondary byoc trunk in apac, the dialer returns 403 forbidden instead of just retrying. we have 15 trunks configured and this only happens on the failover logic. anyone seen this?
The problem is likely that a misconfigured failover priority in the outbound campaign settings. Check the trunk group configuration to ensure the secondary BYOC trunk has explicit outbound permissions. Verify the API key scope includes outbound:write for the specific region. Adjusting the routing rules usually resolves the 403 error during traffic shifts.
