Outbound Campaign API 422 on Contact List Import

Trying to understand the validation logic rejecting our contact list imports via the Outbound API.

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v2/outbound/lists
  • Error: 422 Unprocessable Entity with message “Invalid email format” despite RFC 5322 compliance
  • Environment: Multi-tenant AppFoundry integration using OAuth 2.0 client credentials
  • Context: Payload contains 500 records; manual testing in UI succeeds for identical data
