Hey all wondering if anyone has some experience with caching of the scxml, vmxl, etc files from apache tomcat webapps server?
Trying to lower the numbers of calls ORS needs to make to the web app servers through load balancer.
Appreciate any info anyone may be able to share.

ORS have its own cache for SCXML, the defaults in recent versions covers a lot. You can read more about them here: https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/OS/latest/Deployment/AppLevel
Its not the ORS but the MCP that accesses vxml and audio. Genesys also have an article about caching here: https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/GVP/latest/GDG/ACAPP
Appreciate the feedback and information msh… the GVP information only covers voice, we also need to take into account the echannels as well.
We can see in the logs the ORS making requests to the tomcat servers for the scxml files, etc. These should be cached, however from our view either the timers are set way to low or th caching is not happening.
We have engaged Genesys team to assist with this… I’ll post the outcome of those conversations in the hopes it may help others who may be experiencing the same issue.
