Is it possible to create a user who only has access to OCM (no other clients) and does only have read rights to campaigns and groups but read/write for calling lists?
I tried 2 ways:
1st way: creating new user without administrative rights and granting read/execute access to OCS, OCM, DBServer, DAP and Campaigns and AgentGroups and Read/Write/Execute to CallingLists but OCM comes with an “error reading configuration”.
2nd way: creating an administrative user and forbidding access to other client apps and only granting Read access to Campaigns and AgentGroups but the user is still able to load and start campaigns.
The user should only be able to open OCM and to see everything but not to change anything.
I created a user, adding it to a new Access group, removing the person from all of the other groups. Then going into the OCM object in CME and setting the new Security access group to full control. Then going into the resources folder and setting the security to read for the new group and making sure that it is recursive.
But when I start the OCM with that user it is able to load and start campaigns. And that should not be.
in order to see all objects in OCM you need read access, however in giving that read access it results in the User being able to start/stop and load/unload campaigns.
What specific access are you trying to grant? What in particular do you want them to see?
Could you utilise GIS / G+ and deliver the info that you need to a intranet page?
