Missing Tabs in Geneys DEsktop 7.6

In GAD 7.6 , NotePad & Custom Data tabs are missing in the interaction area.
Any idea what option do I need to enable/to set in gdesktop application ?

Hello Ramya,

We would need some more information to be able to help you.

  • For which types of interactions are you missing the tabs? As you do ro do not know, GAD interface is different for different types of interactions. This can be seen in the Genesys Desktop 76 Help file.
  • Did you apply customisations to GAD?
  • Do you mean Custom Data or Attached Data tab?

Hi Luk,

GAD is enabled only for voice interaction.(i.e) Multi-media components are not installed.
yes customization is done in GAD but not related to tabs.
Attached data is visible,but other tabs -Notepad & Custom Data which are available in earlier versions are missing in 7.6 for Voice interaction.

“Custom Data” tab is visible only in case you’ve defined some custom data. Otherwise GDesktop doesn’t display that tab.

Missing “Notepad” tab - GDesktop has to have connection to Universal Contact Server as information written into notepad are stored in Universal Contact database.

Thanks a lot.Custom Data tab is visible now.
Right now we do not have Multi -media components. Hope once we have UCS db in place -we will be able get the notepad tab.
