Microsoft Speech Server and Genesys

Has anyone integrated MSS with Genesys yet? Looking for any insight.

Jim

Hi, Jim,

we are looking into it right now, actually. Microsoft has made a tremendous progress with its MSS and given its dominance in platforms running CRM and IVR products (yes, most IVRs do run on Windows!), it has a fair chance of becoming a major player next to likes of Nuance, SpeechWorks, etc.

Unfortunately, the problem is integration with Genesys. Getting attach data to/from MSS is a pain in a rear end. We have tried an old /tried approach of using Genesys ActiveX component; however, it is definitely not the way to do it.

Is there a GPlus component out there that I do not know about?

The only item I know of is the Intel NetMerge Call Manager TIM that I imagine you are using. I havenft seen or heard of anything from Genesys but I donft think there are many places up and running with MSS yet. Itfs good to know that it will not be an eeasyf installation so I can allocate more hours if we decide to go the MSS route.

Thanks,

Jim

We are doing a MSS 2007 integration and need attached data working as well. Does anyone have it working with MSS 2007 yet?
