IWS Customization - Hide/Remove Consultation Button

Hi,

can someone tell me what is the best way to remove/hide the consultation button on the Team-communication window?

Don’t remember but maybe on the Roles itself there is an option to doesn’t allow it

This was also what I expected but unfortunately it seems there is no Role to enable/disable parts of the team communicator functionality, i.e. in this case consultation. There is only “Team Communicator - Can Use” Role, with which it is possible to enable/disable the whole team communicator functionality (both transfer and consultation) but not part of it. May be there is a programmatic way of simply removing a button.

you can’t change standart feature button by role. It’s can be made only by rewriten toolbar by you one code.

Not trying to change the button behaviour, just hide it…by roles was logic as it can disallow as well other buttons

Thanks guys,

I ended up replacing the view with my own view. That means, I also had to replace the “done” button and its functionality. Somehow too much effort for being able to just hide a button.

Sorry Cav, but if you disallow it by role - button will be still show in toolbar
