Importing or Sync data in UCS contact history

RE: UCS.

Is it possible to import external contact interactions. The company I work for send mailouts to customers and they would like to import this information into the contact history. Is this possible?.. Also is it possible to Snyc the contact information with a third party CRM application or process in the Contact server manager ?

Well, if you were to treat the mail as a third-party work item then you could use the standard interaction model and this would then be possible to store in UCS. When you say mailouts, do you mean physical mail like flyers, etc.?
