How does GIR interact with the core Genesys framework

Can anyone answer this question for me? How does GIR interact with the core Genesys framework?

What do you mean? It get roles, agents, via HTCC.
Read the documentation, GIR is kinda complex. There are tech tutorials available at Genesys support site

Recording Processor is connecting to Config Server to read agents, Agent Logins and agent hierarchy (see Annex of agents) during startup. Later it is expecting notifications about changes via this initially opened connection.
Speechminer Interaction Receiver is reading agent info regularly in the cycle (depends on settings).
Web Services is connecting config server too.
