Genesys Cloud release notes — tracking breaking changes proactively

As an IVR designer, I spend a lot of time crafting the perfect caller experience with DTMF menus and TTS prompts.

Lately, I’ve noticed small changes in how the text-to-speech engines pronounce certain phrases, or minor shifts in the default Architect behaviors that weren’t immediately obvious.

Does anyone have a good strategy for tracking breaking changes or subtle modifications in the release notes? I try to read the weekly updates, but sometimes it is hard to tell when a backend update is going to impact the actual user experience or containment metrics of my flows.

From a supervisor perspective, I struggle with this too.

I manage about 30 agents and I try to read the release notes to see if there are any new dashboard features or changes to how queue monitoring works. But honestly, the notes are usually written for developers and I don’t understand half of what’s listed.

How do I filter the updates so I only see the changes that affect the agent metrics, coaching tools, and the supervisor views?
