Genesys Administrator and 8.5 framework

Hi,

I’m trying to use Genesys Administrator on a 8.5 Framework. Starting 8.5 the message server is able to connect to the DB just using the DAP. there is no need for a DBServer anymore. It seem though GA is not able to do that so I don’t have the logs and alarms on the Monitoring page. In the 8.5 framework deployment guide it states clearly against using a DBServer. Anyone know how to go around in in GA or I’m forced in using GAX?

Did you connect everything to MS and set the option in Message Server?

Yes, default application is connected to message server and db_storage is set to true.
And in GAX I can see the alerts. The issue is only in GA
