full export of ODS DB and Geneysys configuration DB

Hello ,

In order to fix a Service Request, the Genesys Support asked me to full export of ODS DB and Geneysys configuration DB export.

Do i have to use the Configuration Import Wizard for the two exports ?

Hi MaxonMan,

I don’t think that Configuration Import Wizard is the best tool especially when it doesn’t work for you. I suggest you exporting the databases using your DBMS tools (MSSQL2000 - Enterprise Manager, Oracle - exp command). Your DBA should know how to do it.

there is any Genesys utility to do that ?

i can remember that CCW ( configuration conversion wizard ) can do such things.
do you agree ?

Yes, you can use CCW for the export of Genesys Configuration but there is no such tool for ODS. The only way is to use DBMS tools.
