Been using VAG’s to show # of agents logged into each skill.
Works great..but even though when building the views from scratch I always be sure to leave the “include all agents” underneath the VAGs UNCHECKED..sometime later, days - weeks, agents begin to showup underneath the VAGs in the object pane. From day one, after building the view, they don’t appear under…but somehow they begin to show in the object view sometime later..not sure if has something to do with when Skills are managed…
anyone run into this and have a sure fire way to prevent agents from showing up under VAG objects ?
It may be version specific - I am running 7.5.001.04 and it has a few more Options for Real-Time Views.
If you are building VAG’s ONLY for the View then you should be checking Tenant>Persons>Group of Agents first, then selecting the VAG’s on the next screen. Once you have the View available (with just the VAG’s listed), you begin to build a new Template - make sure you are building a new Template based on an Agent Group, not just Agent. Once you have built your new Template, apply it to the Selected VAG’s in the View, in the Objects pane on the left-hand-side…
Within later versions of CCP, it is possible to Create a View based on some different criteria, which may not be available in your version. In mine, you get the Options to;
Create Real-Time View
Create Real-Time View for Members
Create Real-Time V/AG Dynamic Membership
…
I’m not sure, since I don’t have your version loaded but this may be where your problem is; in the application of a pre-defined View to a VAG. It may be that you don’t have the Option(s) to create a simple View for the VAG Object but rather it automatically “assumes” you want to create a View for all members or for a V/AG dynamic membership.
Can you let me know what Options appear on your version, if you right-click your VAG(s) in the Objects Pane?
There are other areas to explore - such as how Agents are associated with VAG’s but I think we can exclude the application and removal of Skills as a factor since we are concerning ourselves with VAG’s, not Skills…
CCPulse has a long history of presenting incorrect VAG membership and reporting data. Please check the release notes or try with latest version and see if the problem still persists.
