What is the Trunk value?

I am trying to figure out what the 'AttributeThisTrunk value is, where is comes from and what it represents.
it is presumed to be switch generated as I can see it on the very message in the t-server.
It also carries over into the IVR Server (linked to external IVR) as ‘portTrunk’.

we use Genesys t-server v81 with Avaya CM.

It comes from your PBX, which Trunk it is using. Was quite usefull for some old integrations where analog or simulated trunks were used.
As per Avaya, guess some Avaya expert or your support team could clarify further as you may have different integration types
