I understand for Premise TServer as the one you will be using or reading about and is installed locally. The others are Network TServers.

Cav’s right, it is part of the Genesys network solution.

You have a network T-Server (NTS) in front of your site PBXs and then premise T-Servers (PTS) connected to them. A PTS is really just a normal T-Server of the correct type for your PBX.

Thanks for the quick answer.
In other words, the NTS is connected to the PSTN from one side and is connected to the PBX (Avaya, CUCM, Nortel…) on the other side.
The PTS is connected only to the PBX (Avaya, CUCM, Nortel…).
Am I right?

The NTS does not connect to the PBX, only the PSTN. The PTS connects to the PBX.

The NTS and PTS are networked together to pass data between the two.
