Webrtc softphone drops during wfm shift swap api calls

need some help troubleshooting why agents using the gen web rtc client get disconnected mid-call when they submit a shift swap via the wfm self-service portal. running v24.5.0 chicago env. the api call works fine but the audio cuts out with a 502 bad gateway error in the softphone logs. is this a known issue with concurrent wfm and voice traffic?
