WebRTC Softphone Audio Dropouts in EU-West BYOC

Could someone explain why WebRTC softphone users experience intermittent audio dropouts during peak load? This issue correlates with high CPU usage on client devices.

Environment details:

  • EU-West BYOC instance
  • Architect flow: Standard IVR with queue routing
  • Dashboard shows normal queue wait times

The problem persists across Chrome and Edge browsers. No server-side errors in the conversation detail views are visible. Is this a known client-side limitation or a network configuration issue?
