Architect v2024.3.1 routes inbound from the Ohio BYOC pool straight to a Virtual Agent flow. Bot initializes fine. Then the SIP session just drops. Console logs show a 488 Not Acceptable Here right after the TTS payload hits. Failover logic isn’t even triggering. Trunk group’s still registered and pinging clean. Outbound routing works perfectly. Inbound bot handoffs are just doing jack all on the media negotiation. Digging through the raw SIP traces now.
The 488 usually means the BYOC trunk’s SDP offer doesn’t match the Virtual Agent’s expected codec. Check if PCMU or PCMA is explicitly allowed in the trunk settings. The SDK doesn’t help here, but verifying the allowedCodecs array in your trunk config often fixes it.
