sorry about this. It took much longer than expected, but it is working now!!!
It involved a lot of stupid shell scripts and culminated in a sacrifical offering of a goat to the gods, but we made it happen!
Now, if I could only figure out how to allow people to upload attachments without having my service hacked… Any smf and linux pros out there, who know how to do it?
