Hello,
I have to configure a facebook solution for a client so before I get to the real deal I created a test account and app to get used to what needs to be done (never installed FB with Genesys before). The thing is that I get an error:

17:48:46.952 Std 42400 error… channel-facebook-monitor-messaging: FacebookOAuthException: Received Facebook error response of type OAuthException: (#298) Requires extended permission: read_mailbox

to enable this permission I have to have my app reviewed by Facebook which in fact needs a lot of detalis about this app. But this is just a test app. Is there any chance of getting this permision for a test app?

I think you can define permission within the application creation wizard.

OK i got that figured out but now there is an error:
17:05:28.283 Std 42400 error… (channel-facebook-monitor-search): Cannot read data from Facebook. FacebookOAuthException: Received Facebook error response of type OAuthException: (#11) Post search has been deprecated
com.restfb.exception.FacebookOAuthException: Received Facebook error response of type OAuthException: (#11) Post search has been deprecated

I’m using Genesys FB driver 8.1.400.08, I just downloaded it. Am I missing anything? I see it’s fixed in 8.5 but for that I need sm_server 8.5 also.. does it work with IWs 8.1.x?

What do you think? If was fixed on 8.5 how can 8.1 work?
IWS is just agent side, nothing to do with Plugins

OK thank you,
I have installed SMS 8.5 and is working.. sort of :slight_smile:
The thing is I get the post in the Subject field. Even in the UCS I can see the content of the post in the Subject field. In IWS I can see the contents only while ringing but when the interaction opens in the IWS I cannot see the contents of the post anymore.
I was expecting the post to come in the TEXT field.
