SIP Trunk Registration Flapping on Genesys Cloud BYOC

Stuck on a persistent SIP trunk registration issue where the status oscillates between Registered and Unregistered every 30 seconds. The environment is Genesys Cloud BYOC with a NICE CXone trunk. Logs show a 408 Request Timeout during the initial REGISTER handshake. The SIP signaling seems correct, but the keep-alive mechanism might be failing. Is there a specific invite-retry-count or timeout configuration in the trunk settings that needs adjustment to stabilize this connection?

Cause: SIP trunk registration flapping is a networking or carrier-side issue, not a WFM scheduling concern.
Solution: Check your firewall NAT keep-alive settings and verify the BYOC trunk’s registration interval matches the carrier’s expectations.
