Can’t get this config to load properly… We are mid-migration from Zendesk Voice to Genesys Cloud and trying to establish the SIP trunk connection. In Zendesk, the voice channel was straightforward, but here we are hitting walls with the telephony setup.
The SIP trunk in Genesys Cloud shows a 403 Forbidden error when attempting to register with our carrier. The logs indicate an authentication failure, specifically SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden. We have verified the credentials multiple times. The environment is EU-West-1.
Is there a specific header requirement that Genesys Cloud enforces that Zendesk did not? We are using a standard SIP trunk configuration. The Authorization header seems correct based on the documentation.
We need to map the Zendesk voice interactions to Genesys interactions, but without the trunk registering, the whole migration stalls. Any insights on why the carrier would reject the registration with a 403? We have checked the IP allow-lists. The issue persists across multiple test attempts.
Help would be appreciated as we are on a tight deadline for the cutover. The Zendesk setup was much more forgiving with these configurations.
