SIP Trunk 408 Timeout on Initial INVITE

Has anyone figured out why the BYOC edge logs show a 408 Request Timeout immediately after sending the SIP INVITE?

Background

Premium App deployment on Genesys Cloud BYOC Edge (v2.1.4). PSTN carrier requires 30s timeout.

Issue

Call fails with 408 before ringback. No 100 Trying received from upstream.

Troubleshooting

  • Verified network connectivity via telnet.
  • Confirmed SIP headers match carrier spec.
  • Checked for NAT issues on edge interface.
