Sip server and Agent Desktop

I’m in the process of planning next project and we need to incorporate VoIP into our existing TDM Tserver environment.

Question I have is;
Is it possible to use agent desktop which is based on active X 6.5 version with Sip server?
Are event messages for agent desktop changed for Sip?

I think you can if you handle the SIP events on an external softphone

I’m using Genesys Desktop Toolkits 6.0 ActiveX Interface with SipServer 7.5, 7.6 and 8.0. Sometimes I have problem with transfers, but all other TLib functions are working fine.
