Simple Outbound SMS not working

Hi,

I have a problem with simple outbound SMS [using genesys outbound sample strategy].

Getting below error in the RequestPrivateService:

message getting updated in UCS as sent but it is not. I assume there is problem with my strategy although it is very simple and straight forward. Could someone please help?

How much time passed between request was sent and strategy was continued (with error)?
Does URS has option service_timeout and if yes what is it value?

30 seconds difference.

request sent at 4:23:37.892 and strategy resumed at 4:24:07:893

URS service_timeout value is set to 30

Unlikely it is strategy - URS doesn’t get responce back not positive, not negative for 30+ sec. Better to check logs of Ixn servers, sms, etc.

I noticed the below disconnection in channel [sms server log] and not sure if its relevent:

Is there an EventError in IXN Server?
If it fails, you may want to use the red port of the send SMS box in your strategy to send this failed sms ixn to a workbin and send a retry each 5 minutes for example.
Also, make sure the timeout option for SMS Server is configured.

looks like the problem is with third party now after corrections made on sms server, third party respond as successful but it is not delivered to customer. will post if anything interesting comes up.

activate the delivery report, you’ll know what happened with the sms

Delivery report is enabled but the problem is _umsFromAddr is null and third party does not know about it and hence there is a problem [third party sends delivery report and genesys has an exception with the option above]. Genesys need to say if thats really required or not. Raised case with genesys.
