I tried adding button, but I think there is something missing, because it just destroys the whole bar!!!

ok, I understood that since we ar enot using DEFAULT template anymore, modifying DEFAULT template is not going to do anything. A really shallow learning curve here! 
But, Babylon is a really nice template and modifying it means ripping half of PHP file apart - the link you have shown me does not have the button BTW! >

I will download a copy of the forum files from SMF over the next few days and create a version of it for here, and all you will need to do is upload the files, and I will include the chat gif too, the link has since been moved on my previous post.
Bump! I may try to stop in here every once in awile if anyone wants to share ideas.
