Quick question about gdpr data retention mapping from zendesk to gc

quick question about gdpr compliance during our zendesk to genesys cloud migration. we need to map zendesk’s ticket purging rules to gc’s data retention policies. when testing the /api/v2/users/{userId}/delete endpoint with soft delete flags, we get a 409 conflict error. how do we ensure historical interaction data from zendesk is handled correctly in gc without violating eu data residency?
