Personal Greeting Issue in - Alcatel OXE Environment

Hi,

I have problem in Personal Greeting.

Our client wants to play one beep sound while the call is landing on the agent desktop

I have tested this from IRD by using the fuction
ExtensionAttach[‘agent-greeting’,‘music/beep.wav’] . Its working in sipserver & audiocode environment.

But our client is using Alcatel OXE with Alcatel Tserver.

Generally all the announcements will be stored in Alcatel OXE. I couldn’t find where we have to paste the “beep” file & how to configure the same in IRD or Agent Annex in OXE setup.

Anyone pls help

So, why did you not configure agent greetings on OXE site?

You need Stream Manager or Media Server in order to implement this feature on Genesys side.

No he doesn’t…OXE has that feature by default…just need to enable and configure.

and that means that the greeting will be played at OXE side, not Genesys side.

Playing it on SIP Server would mean to use a SIP channel license, implement a SM (more resources) just for that…and on Genesys you can use all OXE features including the BEEP, meaning will be played during Genesys strategy…
