non working cisco phones on Genesys platform

I have 4 cisco phones 7960 which I want to test.
They wee previously tested but with dummy ID’s.
I decided to change the ID’s ( places and acd positions ) so that we can start doing the necessary tests.

Guess what, they don’t work anymore :frowning:
I can’t find anything special and when I test with our current IP phones ( SNOM ) I don’t have any problem at all.
I think I’m missing something ( like an option somewhere ).

this is configured: on the place/dn → sip:@ipaddress:5060 ( missing backslashes because the forum thinks it’s a link )

daxvancamp (wheew!!! It was hard to type!!! I should have used CTRL-C/CTRL-V :-[)

here is how I define our IP phones (we usually need to specify what DN they are in the sip: option) like this:

This is how it’s configured at our site:

? I don’t think that will work as you show us. Victor config is the correct.

Well,

It’s kinda different here.
We don’t register the phones and this configuration works fine for our other phones, SNOM320 and SNOM360.
There is only a mapping of a place to an IP address in our Genesys system ( this was setup by our integrator ).

The CISCO phones are working now.

I knew it was a parameter missing but couldn’t remember which one !
Our support contacted a specialist and he figured it out.

This is how the ALIAS part is configured for our SNOM phones sip:@ip_address:5060 ( 2 missing / as i’m not registered → url)
which work fine
This is how it should be for CISCO phones sip:ID@ip_address:5060 ( 2 missing / as i’m not registered → url )
It seems taht it’s necessary to add an ID in front of the @ for CISCO phones.

The specialist recommended to add the ID for all configurations ( CISCO and SNOM ) like it should be.
