Noise between GVP Messages

Hi guys,

I have the following issue : at the beginning of each message provided by GVP I get some noise and then the message is heard correctly.

Any idea of what is the cause for this?
I use GVP behind the Sip Server.

Hi,

I met something like that in the past. Two possible reasons:

  • Audio file contains some noise - usually caused by microphone that produces a “click” sound when recording starts
  • Wrong codec of audio files - GVP or gateway has to recode on-fly so it could lead to some noise being played at the beginning
