Need some help troubleshooting

Could use a hand troubleshooting this 403 Forbidden error when attempting to export compliance recordings via the Genesys Cloud API. We are migrating from Zendesk Talk and trying to replicate their secure archive structure. The endpoint GET /api/v2/recording/search fails despite the admin role having full permissions. In Zendesk, this was straightforward with ticket permissions.

“Error 403: Insufficient permissions to access recording export data.”

Is there a specific compliance setting blocking this?
