As we know the news is out that Mitel will be acquiring Avaya. How can this be a game-changer for existing environments and with respective to the contact center?
Maybe will be the same when Alcatel acquired Genesys, or Avaya to Nortel…no big change. Mitel is buying market only, doesn’t have a product to compete against Avaya or to replace it, so wil get Avaya and brand it as it brand and sell it. That is most likely scenario.
