How to check VoiceXML version (GVP 7.2)

Hi all, hope everything’s fine out there; as in object, I would like to know wich VoiceXML version is installed.

What do you mean by installed? VXML is an standard as HTML for example. Each version has its own attributes which makes them compatible or not according to the VXML browser.
What are you exactly after?

Hi Cav; a third party vendor asked us wich version of VoiceXML GVP supports. Reading Genesys documentation about VXML, I read informations about compatibility with specific versions (W3 2.1, Telera 2.0, Genesys 2.0), but informations refers to GVP 7.6, not to 7.2, so I would like to know if specifications are the same for gvp 7.2 too.

Ah no, gvp 7.6 engine was different. Even another product.
Geee 7.2 is hard to find docs about it. Will see if have any.
Check at installation folder, remember there were some docs installed along with it

Searched, but only reference i find is inside some url declaration in vxml.dll; something like ‘telera 2.0’, ‘Genesys 2.0’, W3 1.0, but not sure if this infos can be reliable.

Also found the Deployment guide for the Studio and states:

Genesys Voice Platform 7.2 VoiceXML 2.1 Reference Manual, which provides information about developing VoiceXML 2.1 applications on GVP. It presents VoiceXML 2.1 concepts and provides examples that focus on the GVP implementation of VoiceXML. It also describes the platform extensions to VoiceXML that Genesys provides.
