Hi guys,
One question…is Voice Application Event Consolidator mandatory for VAR to work??? I’m not very confident after reading the VAR deployment guide…or VAR alone will do all the job?

Hi Cav,

Voice Application Event Consolidator is the main component of VAR collecting the events, generating CDRs and storing them to VAR database. So the answer is - yes, it is mandatory.

VAR installation is described in “Genesys Voice Platform 7.6 Voice Application Reporter Deployment and Reference Manual” (76gvp_ref_var.pdf).
