GVP SIP transfer on Alcatel ??

Hi,

Is there any-one having experience on an integration between GVP IPCS 7.5 and an Alcatel.
Here is the scenario;
-the call hits a RP and then the call is transfered to GVP
-GVP answers correctly (DTMF collection, attach data)
-GVP transfers back the call to a RP
The transfer is made correctly trough the ISCC feature but when the agent answers the call, the call is released…

We are using the SIP Refer method but… still having the same issue.

Any ideas ??

Can you please post the log?

Here are some of the standard things to look out for:

  1. lack of ACK
  2. transfer happening while call is in a process of being delivered to the end-point.

Hi,

Also there can be a problem with codec negotiation. I did have some problems with A4400 and SIP in general and forcing the same and one codec on all devices sometimes solved problems.
