hi guyz, how r u…please help me to understand the following. so sorry , but i need ur help 2 clarify.
I am configuring a power gvp campaign, in its options a Voice transfer is required. This voice transefer is a RP.
Lets think RP = 78087.
In this RP i need a strategy routing for example to a Gruop of places or can i leave it in blank??? (If not, how does the call arrives to the gvp ports???)
i perform a couple of call by ocm and monitor the RP its is always on “0” does not matters how many call does OCM dials.
again, GVP does the dialing using IPCS or VCS not the TServer. So there is no ConnID there. The connID will begin when you transfer to a RP to select an agent, why do you want to attach the ConnID?
See my answer in the other thread you opened.
If you want to transfer the call from GVP to agents, you need at least a routing point; no matter whether you have a strategy loaded on it, you need to configure an outbound agent group, add that routing point as Voice Transfer Destination, add the OBN Manager and the routing Stat Server to its connections. And then..well, it’s up to you what to about the call after has been transferred there!
what is the objective of this Voice transfer, i read on manual i need to configure it, but if i select none, the calls still arrive. That why i am sooooo confused. ???
??
The question is, what do you want to do about the call once has been processed by the VXML application?
If you want to transfer it somewhere, you need an agent group and VTD.
Oh so you are using TServer IVR…that is another thing. Even it is not mandatory for OBN with OCS…as Fra mentioned the transfer destination is an OCS functionality, maybe if you read the OCS documentation will get a better idea, but again TSERVER IVR is not needed even in this case.
