GVP easy question

I have a question which might be simple, but I can’t figure it out. In GVP version 7.0 (until 7.2 I guess), When you went to the GVP website, you could click on “Voice applications” to view/edit/add voice applications. I’m working now for the first time with 7.6, but I cannot find this anymore. Is this changed by something else or is my installation incomplete? I have installed the standard IP solution using the GVP deployment agent.

Hi Jonas,

GVP GUI of Enterprise edition has been changed starting release 7.5 when Genesys “joined” base code of both - Enterprise and Network - editions. New GUI is called EMPS and you can find more information about it in Genesys Voice Platform 7.6 Reference Manual.

Hope it helps you

Hi René,

Thx for your reaction. I am aware of the EMPS, but I cannot find anything for adding new voice applications.

Well, Perhaps I should read the reference manual better

Hi Jonas,

I don’t have access to GVP right now so not able to provide you with step-by-step description of adding a new voice application. That process is called “provisioning” in EMPS and is described in detail in reference guide.

too bad, it would a great help. Thanks again for your information.

As René said that is well documented on the deployment/reference guides…

The quick answer to your question is that what used to be called “Voice Applications” are now called “IVR Profiles”. Don’t ask me why…

IVR Profiles are still found in basically the same place within EMPS that Voice Apps were found in Provisioning…

I finally figured it out. Thanks all for your help!
