Hello,

Am I right in believing a routing strategy created using version 6.5 cannot be copied or opening in version 7.5?

We have this scenario in one of our sites. IRD is 6.5 however having installed v7.5 I am able to open the software but cannot create a copy of the existing strategies.

Or may be a access/security issue?

You did not mention that in your post, but be aware that you can make a big mess having a version x URS and version y IRD. I don’t know whether or not which applicatio you have upgraded, but if you are using 7.x URS, 7.x IRD and 6.5 strategies, I would try to open, recompile, save all of the 6.5 strategies (and then try to create of copy).

Do not use IRD 6.5 and try to do what I have written above.

You will need to use a 7.5 IRD to open strategies loaded on a 7.5 URS.
