Processing high-volume interaction events from EventBridge is blowing up our Lambda concurrency limits. The OTel spans show the handler timing out before finishing the trace propagation to Jaeger. Here’s the basic handler structure:

We’re seeing 502 errors in CloudWatch. Is there a way to batch the EventBridge rule or adjust the batch size in the trigger config to smooth out the spikes? We’ve tried increasing the concurrency limit but it’s not scaling fast enough.
