EventBridge consumer hitting Lambda concurrency limits on high-volume interaction events

We’re ingesting interaction events from Genesys Cloud via EventBridge. The volume spikes during peak hours are causing our Lambda consumer to hit the account concurrency limit. We see Unhandled ProvisionedConcurrencyError in CloudWatch. Is there a way to configure the EventBridge rule to batch events or slow down the delivery rate to prevent this? Currently using default settings. Here is the error trace we’re seeing:
