Edify CTI Driver & Genesys 6.1 IServer Requests

I am looking for someone who has experience in configuring and installing G6.1 IServer with Edify 6.2 Driver. I am experiencing problems configuring properly since I can not get logs to log properly to the local IServer directory and SCI. Also I cannot invoke requests from Edify driver to TServer through IServer. though I register the ivr ports in CME correctly and I can monitor events on those ports I cannot get the driver to initiate Requests through IServer. I get the following error as followed WRN. unsuppported resource “CH” 0@ivr1.

See log output below:

Anyone who has experience with Edify CTI and have seen this error before please advise on how I can resolve it.

thanks for your assistance.

Richard,

my first guess would be your channel settings in CME.

Do you have all the channels registered for under IServer section?

Do you have the corresponding entries under the IVR section in CME for all of the channels you are using?

Looking through your log dump, I noticed that your PORT and DN numbers are the same… Look under IServer section (it should be IServerEdify under your IServerEdify application’s options section) and see if by some bizzare reason you have Chan:3401@TServer_G3 =3401@TServer_G3

Chances are your channel numbers are wrong. Usually, channel starts with 0 and goes up. So, you should be seeing there something like Chan:0@TServer_G3=3401@TServer_G3

The best way to fix it is to use the wizard, and redo the port definitions. The idea is to associate a port with a DN on a PBX. So, in your case, it would be Port 0 = 3401, Port 1= 6318, and so on…

Try it and see if it fixes your problem.

Needless to say, use your head before you do what I told you. Without seeing your environment, there is only so much I can be certain of :frowning:

With best regards,

Vic
