doubt about the templates of the applications

Hello expert friends, I have the following question:

I did an update to SCS from version 8.1.000.10 to 8.5.100.24 but I forgot to update the Template from version 8.5.

I notice that the SCS works without problems, my questions are:

  • Is it mandatory to update the application template?
  • Is there any risk not having updated it?

Please your kind advice before this doubt of mine.

In general it is not necessary to update app template in case od there’s no options update or you reflect it manually.
