can someone please tell me if it is normal to have different definitions in StatServer and DMA for the same statistics?

No - it is not normal. Usually (depending on version) a synchronization takes place between the StatServer and DMA. Unless you are running another StatServer (for another reason - CCPulse+/Routing, etc.) - then it is possible that they may be different.
What, specifically, is the problem?
